SCDL Social Media Management Inc. — Privacy Policy
Effective Date: Oct 16, 2026
SCDL Social Media Management Inc. (“SC Digital Marketing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a digital marketing agency registered in the Philippines. We run advertising and customer engagement campaigns for client brands on Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger), Google Ads, TikTok Ads, email, SMS, and Viber. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, and protect personal information when you:
It also covers our internal application registered with Meta for Messenger Platform and Conversions API integration.
Our role. In most cases, we process your information on behalf of our client brands. The client brand is the personal information controller and we act as its personal information processor, under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). The client’s own privacy policy also applies to your information. Where we process information for our own business purposes, such as our own marketing or vendor records, we act as the controller.
We collect only what we need for the purposes in Section 3.
Sensitive personal information. We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as government-issued ID numbers, financial account details, or health information, through our ad or messaging channels. If you volunteer it, we use it only to handle your inquiry and pass it to the relevant client brand. We do not keep it longer than needed.
We process personal information only on a lawful basis recognized under Sections 12 and 13 of the Data Privacy Act.

Our Meta-registered application connects to the Messenger Platform so we can receive and reply to messages sent to the Pages we manage. Through the Conversions API for Business Messaging, the application may send limited event data back to Meta, such as confirmation that a lead was submitted in a conversation. This event data is linked to your PSID and the Page you messaged. We share it with Meta to measure and optimize ad delivery for our clients. Meta’s handling of this data is governed by Meta’s Privacy Policy. We do not sell Messenger data, and we do not use it to build profiles for unrelated third parties.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
Cross-border transfers. Some of these platforms and providers store or process data outside the Philippines, including in the United States, Singapore, and the European Union. When we transfer information abroad, we stay accountable for it under Section 21 of the Data Privacy Act. We rely on contractual safeguards to make sure it receives a comparable level of protection.
We keep messaging and lead data for 24 months after your last interaction with us or the client brand. After that we delete it or anonymize it so it can no longer identify you. We keep it longer only when a client contract or the law requires it, for example tax or audit records. We delete it sooner if you validly ask us to (Section 7). Marketing opt-out records are kept for as long as needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:
How to exercise your rights. Email our Data Protection Officer at the address in Section 11. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will acknowledge your request within 5 working days and act on it within 30 days. If your information was collected for a client brand, we will coordinate with that brand to fulfill your request.
